Dear Parent / Guardian,

There will be a theme park trip on Friday 13th July to Chessington World of Adventures for all students in year 8. On the same day, year 7 will visit another theme park. We will be leaving the Campus at 8.15am sharp and arriving back at the Campus approximately 4.30pm (traffic permitting). Pupils should arrive at school to be registered at 8.00am. They will not have to wear uniform, but should obviously dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

The cost of the trip is £25, which will cover the coach and admission to the theme park. Please make cheques payable to Chafford Hundred Campus.

Students will need to bring a packed lunch or bring money to buy something at the park, though I would advise no more than a small amount of money. If requested, pupils entitled to a free school meal will be provided with a packed lunch by the school. Students will be fully responsible for the money they bring along and students are NOT to bring any valuables on the trip.

Pupils who cannot attend the trip must attend school as usual.

If you would like your son / daughter to go on the trip, I would be grateful if you can complete the slip below and return it to the Campus reception with a payment of £25 by Monday 19th June. Slips returned after this date will result in the pupil being unable to go to Chessington.

If we get insufficient contributions we may have to cancel the trip. If the whole trip is cancelled for any reason, then obviously all payments will be refunded.

If a pupil makes payment, but is unable to attend at a later date due to personal reasons or because of their poor behaviour in school then, unfortunately, no refund is possible.

I also agree to authorise members of staff during the trip to approve such medical treatment for my child as is necessary in an emergency on the advice of a qualified medical practitioner. I have written above any medical conditions from which my child is suffering together with details of treatment required. I understand that the school will not be held responsible for any problem with my child resulting from an undisclosed medical condition.
