KS3 Parents Evening Letter

Dear Parent/Guardian

You are invited to attend a termly Parents’ Consultation Evening on Wednesday 17th October, 2007 between 4.30pm and 7.00pm. This year is the first time you could potentially meet up to three times in one academic year at parents evening with your child’s teachers. The whole process of parents evening and reports has changed. There will be a parents evening each term for KS3 and KS4 as well as a termly report later in the term to keep you fully updated on your child’s progress. It must be stressed that staff will be available between 4.30 – 7.00pm and only have a certain amount of appointment slots. It is important that parents/guardians book the time they would like to meet with their child’s teachers as soon as possible in order to get the time slot they want.

    If your child is in years 7 or 8 you can see up to three teachers, one must be your child’s Learning Guide, topic teacher plus one other if you want to see another teacher.

      If your child is in year 9 you can see up to three teachers from any subject.


    Please return the reply slip to Mrs Faraway at Reception no later than Wednesday 10th October, 2007. This will allow us to know how many parents will be attending. The second slip is for your son/daughter to keep and make appointments with their teachers.
